PARENT INFORMATION
I will do everything I can to make your child feel comfortable and loved.
The children I care for are considered part of my family. I will help you
nurture, provide security, teach and give encouragement to your child for the
hours you are away. My goal is to provide a safe and fun place for the children
to experience the world around them. I believe children learn through play and
the experiences they have. By giving them a variety of experiences,
they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their
own pace.Caring for children is my choice of profession. I look forward to caring for
your child. It is exciting for me to share in their accomplishments and
smiles as they develop. It is my goal to direct and guide them as I would my own child.
Be assured while you are away your child is in a loving, family atmosphere.
The children I care for are readily accepted as part of our family.
Along with teaching your child the basics such as alphabet, numbers, shapes, and
colors I also teach them to be courteous and respectful towards one another.
Please feel free to discuss any subject with me. I need constant communication
with you and appreciate your support and guidance. I’ll strive to give your child
the best care possible at this important time of his/her life. I encourage the
children to pick up after themselves and help each other. I encourage sharing,
creativity and taking turns.

CURRICULUM
I use Funshine Express Preschool curriculum. Children ages 18 months and
up participate in this formal curriculum program. This is a purchased product,
which has different themes for the month and includes crafts, stories, work sheets,
numbers, alphabet, colors, and shapes. We work on the curriculum throughout the week.
I use the curriculum as a basis in which I add additional items to help reinforce the
current themes, and to help with letter, number, shapes, and colors recognition.
I continue to add to the items and rotate others as needed.

I have a security system, each parent has a different four digit code to obtain entry into
my home. Throughout the year we take field trips. We go to a variety of places depending
on weather and the time of year. Some of the places we visit are animal farms, zoos, museums,
parks, library, nature center, Chuck E Cheese, fire department, and anything the children have
an interest in. You can see all these wonderful
activities and trips on our daycare online photo album that is password protected for your
