Description

At Amazing Tots, your child will be offered a variety of day-to-day preschool activities that will help promote school readiness skills, help develop good manners, strength of character, social skills and foster creative play.

I offer constructive activities that will help encourage motor development, hand-eye coordination, math skills appropriate for your child's age, counting and recognition of numbers and letters, sorting, sequencing, art projects, games, songs, stories, and work sheets.

I also offer science and health projects and activities, but most importantly, I offer lots of hugs, verbal praise and encouragement so your child 'feels' success with every step.

Qualifications

Over 18 years experience in the Child Care Profession.

I am a very energetic person who has a deep love for children and for teaching. I'm the mother of two children; ages 25 and 17. I started 'babysitting' at an early age and have been around children my entire life.

I have some home school experience, as I taught my own daughter preschool and kindergarten. I am a former pediatrics dental assistant (12 yrs) and nursing student and I am CPR and First Aid trained.
Years of references available.

I will provide a Safe and Healthy Day Care Home that supports the physical, social, intellectual and emotional needs of your child.
I believe children feel most comfortable in a loving and caring setting while away from their parents.
They want to feel safe, protected, loved, wanted
and want to have fun.
They need to be allowed to be curious about the world around them within safe boundries.
Children learn best through play.
I am big on open communication and I am blessed to be in the profession that I am in.

Meals & Menus

I provide Home Cooked meals and serve Breakfast, Lunch and at least one snack daily. I am with a USDA Food Program and offer lots of healthy choices.

Curriculum

Because children have different learning styles, I incorporate different domains for your child to learn; visual, auditory and textile. Children learn best through play, so we make sure we have lots of fun while learning!
