Description:

We provide quality care to children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, through developmentally appropriate activities, in a safe environment, facilitated by loving teachers trained in Early Childhood Education.

Qualifications:

Licensed by the state of IL. CPR/First Aid Certified Certified in Special needs 60 hours Early childhood Education including CDA credentials

Philosophy:

Our childcare philosophy is that each child learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at thier own pace. Activities are offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction.

The development of self-esteem is also a major goal. Children learn concepts from real hands-on experience such as dramatic play, art,role play, blocks,educational games, children songs, blocks,books,manipulatives,painting and outdoor adventures; involving discovering nature (science).

We make every effort to provide a fun filled as well as educational enviroment. An enviroment designed designed to help children make wise choices and become independant, to help them figure out concepts and ideas on thier own, and to become involved when needed.

Curriculum:

Prescool & Toddler themes that focus on areas of development; meeting the standards of the Illinois Early Learning Standards. Most of our curriculms are order through Scholastics,Abeka and Sunshine. Each week we offer a different theme. Some of our weekly themes are Farm animals,Bugs,Insects,Dental Health,Sharing&Caring and much more...

Hands on activites includes:
Art: painting,glue,color,and playdough. Music & Movement: using their large & small motor skills, where they learn to be confident in what their bodies can do. Storytime: Nursery rhymes, Fingerplay, and Poems

I'm currently pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education, with well over 35hrs of Early childhood training, including special needs. and various of awards and certificates in earlychildhood and business admin.
