DESCRIPTION:
Lil' Critters Childcare offers you and your child a wonderful playful and learning environment.
I strive to provide you and your family with a warm, caring, encouraging and loving experience.
I take pride in our children being excited to come to my home.
Your child will be in a childcare where there is plenty of natural light, age appropriate toys, painting, blocks, play doh, water and sand time,
science, music, dance, acting,American Sign Lanuage, pre-school from Mother Goose and Funshine Express, hands on learning, FUN and more fun.
We will have plenty of "shake your wiggles, start your giggles" time outside either in my own backyard with fun cars,
slides and toys or at the park three houses down.
We will also teach them the three F's of the bible.....
Facts....Faces.....Fun....
We will learn songs, verses, names, how to pray at meals, stories of the bible and FUN FUN dances....

QUALIFICATIONS:
I have been caring for kids my entire life. I have three children of my own 11, 2 and 1. I believe
each and every child is a miracle and a gift from above. Each child deserves love, attention, respect
and laughter.
My husband and I were foster parents in Washington for many years and opened a group home to teach
teenage foster girls independent living skills. We started a program which is going strong still today.
I as well was a Youth Service Counselor for foster children in the Yakima Wa area.
I have met the state requirements and have received the following certifications:
* CPR/First Aid Certified
* Criminal Background check (everyone in my home over 18)
* Recog and reporting Child abuse
* Food handlers card
and will maintain the requirements placed on me by the state of Oregon on a yearly basis

REGISTRATION:
Registration is based on acceptance after a interview/tour is made.
The family along with the child will come in and meet the teacher and
interact with the other children. This is a time for the provider to see
how the child will interact with the other children and for the parents to
ask any questions they may have to the provider.
We go over our daily routine
and policies. If both the family and the provider agree that it is a good fit,
then half of the first months tuition is due to hold the spot for the child.

TUITION:
Full-Time
$500 a month for 5 days a week
$400 a month for 4 days a week
Part-Time
$300 a month for 3 days a week
$25 a day for less than three days a week
Drop-in care
is offered at $30 a day if room is available
Summer Care for school aged children
$400 a month
Before and After School Care
(rates are for children in 1st grade or older)
$225 a month
School care if based on five days a week, call for a daily rate. We offer multiple children discounts.

MEALS & MENUS:
We will provide Breakfast, lunch and a snack according to the USDA food program.
Milk is served with all meals and water is available all day long.

PARENT INFORMATION:
Lil' Critters will send home a monthly newsletter to all families. The Lil' Critters Big News will have the songs we will be learning that month, the letters and colors we will be working on, upcoming events,
important information, menu for the month, a suggestion section and much more

CURRICULUM INFORMATION:
We run a year round pre school program though Mother Goose Time and Funshine Express. Both of these are GREAT preschool programs and supply crafts, songs, outside and inside activities and are focused on each childs age group.

Lil' Critters is in the process of hiring an assistant to work PT during the summer.

a typical day....
7:00 - 8:00.......... children arriving- FREE play
8:00 - 8:15.......... clean-up
8:15 - 8:45....... .. Breakfast
8:45 - 9:00.......... clean-up/free play
9:00 - 10:00........ Pre-school time (includes calendar, weather, songs, number and colors,
name recognition, feelings and dances)
10:00 - 10:30 ...... free play
10:30 - 11:00 ...... arts and crafts
11:00 - 11:15....... clean-up
11:15 - 11:30....... group play (playdoh, blocks etc.)
11:30 - 12:00....... lunch
12:00 - 12:15....... circle time
12:15 - 2:00........ Quiet time
2:00 - 3:00.......... Shake your wiggles/start your giggles
3:00 - 3:15.......... snack
3:15-4:00............ free play (outside time, park trips, sand and water time ETC)
4:00 - 4:30.......... game time
4:30 - 4:45.......... science
4:45 -6:00........... free play, get ready to go home
This varies depending on the time of year, the moods of the kids and the activites we have for that day. But for the most part we try and stay on a schedule so the kids get use to our daily routine.
We also have daily science time, cooking, hands on fun, once a month karate from outside trainer, twice a month puppet and story time from outside helper,tumbling and we will be learning and watching the growth and life cycle of butterflies, frogs, ladybugs and ants. |
