DESCRIPTION

Little Rascals is not a new company, but an expanded one. Donna Boyd, the owner of LRCDC, has been providing excellent childcare in both MO and KS for nearly 20 years!
What started out as finding a playmate for her daughter quickly turned into a preschool of 10.
She provides a safe haven for parents' most precious gift and a carnival for all the children who attend her care.
Donna still has contact with 90% of the children enrolled in her care since the beginning in 1990.
Prior to her home daycare, she was the owner/operator of Little Rascals Consignment Shop until the birth of her youngest son.
Knowing the level of care out there, and being a child advocate herself, Donna decided it was time to do something, and she did!
She has had a reputation of providing excellent care to the children she watches and their families. Commitment and integrity is hard to find in any business.
At Little Rascals, it is easy to see and once inside you can feel the difference.The home like atmosphere is soothing for the children.
The "Station Rotations" were created by her and her kids attending her home daycare. The atmosphere at LRCDC is very much like Vacation Bilb Colleen Zienkewicz

QUALIFICATIONS

Caregivers are hard to come by, QUALITY caregivers are nearly impossible to find. That is why we have spent an inordinate amount of time searching out just the right people to serve LRCDC.
Our Caregivers have short shifts, are paid well, given the best of benefits, free childcare for their children, excellent working environment, and have the opportunity to further their education in the Early Childhood Education field.
As a matter of fact, we are hoping to have all our caregivers obtain their CDA by the end of 2009! we are looking to offer in the future a programm to help single mothers enter college.
With out these benefits, the childcare profession will suffer as more and more caregivers seek jobs outside of the field.
At LRCDC our bottom line is the children, the caregivers, the curriculum, the happy faces, the look of relief and joy on a parent's face, the hugs, tears, stories, praises, cards, flowers, and YOU!

PHILOSOPHY

Live, Love, eat cookies, and take naps. Keep it simple, give hugs and kisses as often as you can, look for the good in everyone, turn you cheek in the storm, it really does take a village, yet one man can accomplish anything through love, patience and faith.
